Our Curriculum
At The Home School Project, we believe education should be as dynamic as the world around us. Our project-based learning (PBL) approach engages students in meaningful, real-world scenarios that intertwine a variety of subjects, ensuring they explore essential academic content within each project. Unlike traditional education, where rote memorisation often reigns, our curriculum fosters key skills for life such as creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students embark on interdisciplinary projects that make learning relevant and exciting, while also tailoring experiences to meet their unique needs.

Our skills curriculum sets us apart by focusing on six key competencies that prepare students for life beyond academics. Within each competency, we assess a range of skills essential for personal and academic success. This commitment to holistic development is complemented by our weekly enrichment classes, which includes a book club, puzzle club, and mental and physical well-being sessions. By cultivating a love for learning and allowing students to take ownership of their educational journey, we empower them to thrive in a rapidly changing world. At The Home School Project, learning is engaging, meaningful, and tailored to inspire every child.

We are committed to incorporating education for sustainable development (ESD) across our curriculum. Our projects are designed to engage students with global issues, from climate change to social justice, helping them develop a deep understanding of sustainability and its impact on the world. Through hands-on, real-world tasks, students explore ways to create a more sustainable future, learning to balance ecological, economic, and social considerations in their decision-making. This not only enriches their academic experience but also empowers them to become responsible, forward-thinking global citizens.
