Course Overview

A book club for inquisitive minds ready to dive deeper into literature, explore complex themes, and sharpen analytical skills. Over six weeks, students will read, discuss, and critically analyse a carefully selected book, focusing on character development, authorial techniques, and deeper themes. Through guided discussions and thought-provoking activities, they will develop the skills needed to interpret literature at a higher level, articulate their ideas clearly, and engage in meaningful debate. What We Cover: ✅ Critical analysis of literature – Understanding symbolism, themes, and authorial intent ✅ Advanced inference & comprehension skills – Encouraging students to justify interpretations with textual evidence ✅ Debate & discussion – Forming and defending opinions in a supportive environment ✅ Exploring literary techniques – Examining the impact of structure, language, and perspective 📚 Students will need to read approximately 4 chapters per week between sessions to allow for in-depth discussion and analysis. 🌟 A great opportunity for students to refine their analytical skills, develop confidence in discussing literature, and engage in stimulating literary debate.
