Our Skills Curriculum
Our skills curriculum is a unique approach to assessment that focuses on how students grow and apply essential abilities rather than simply what they know.
At The Home School Project, we use this curriculum to evaluate the development of each student through their learning journey, tracking progress across real-world projects. Instead of traditional exams or tests, we assess how well students engage with challenges, collaborate with others, and manage their tasks. This approach ensures that their education is not only academically rich but also deeply focused on preparing them for life beyond the classroom.

Our 6 Key Competencies
Our skills curriculum is built around six key competencies, carefully chosen to reflect the abilities most critical for thriving in the 21st century. We selected these competencies to ensure students not only excel academically but also develop the practical, emotional, and intellectual tools needed to navigate real-world challenges. Within each competency, there are a number of specific skills that students will be assessed on, allowing us to track their growth and development in a holistic and meaningful way.
